Knowledgeable and experienced regarding governance, administration, management, delivery, and oversight of transportation, land use, policy and other social sector systems.

 

Media/Communications

Knowledgeable and experienced regarding public awareness campaigns, public relations, information dissemination, advocacy campaigns, outreach skills, monitoring and evaluation, and other aspects of effective information gathering for use by public officials, citizen advocacy groups, the media, and others.

 

Public Advocacy

Knowledgeable and experienced in advice, assistance, and guidance to nongovernmental organizations, citizens groups, public interest organizations, and other organizations on how to advocate, interact, and communicate with representatives of deliberative bodies and other governing institutions to provide information, express opinions and viewpoints, and represent the interests of these groups in the legislative and policy-making process. Understands the use of social media, media advocacy and marketing as a change agent to mobilize, engage and recruit citizen engagement on a variety of issues, to engage transparency in the development of policy, and as an advocacy tool on issues.
